“Play is our brain’s favorite way of learning”, states Diane Ackerman, a contemporary American author. And we believe that.
Games are tools that help children learn about themselves and the world around them. Play is critical to the growth and development of children. As children play, they learn to solve problems, to get along with others, and to develop motor skills needed to grow and learn. Therefore, we want to teach them to communicate naturally in English. Also, we want to teach them that it’s not just another subject, is another way of expressing themselves.
We use many different ways to learn about different things. A playful learning through games, songs and videos are our favorite way of teaching English. Even with games that they propose themselves. We want to make the children aware of their own learning. That they develop their imagination, make an effort to express themselves and that, as we have already said, they enjoy it.
